1. SPEAKER SERIES

 

The next speakers to come to talk with the Whalasa community will be Ronaldo César Coelho – Brazilian entrepreneur and politician who created and sold a bank in Brazil - and Franklin Feder – CEO of ALCOA Brazil.

  • Event format: presentations (in Portuguese) followed by dinner with a group of 18 students in each dinner
  • Date: April 11 (Ronaldo César Coelho) & April 17 (Franklin Feder)
  • Time: 18:00 – 20:30
  • Location: presentation and dinner at Lauder Conference Room (estimated cost per event of US$35/person)

2. MIT LATIN CONFERENCE: FREE EVENT

3. WHARTON WELCOME WEEKEND – SCHEDULE

 

Thursday April 12th

  • Pub – Traditionally starting at 5pm;
  • 3rd Whalasa House – Starting at 9 pm at Luis Terife’s apartment - Sterling aptm 726, 1815 JFK Blvd. Later in the evening, we can head towards the Arabia Club party (venue TBD).

Friday April 13th

  • Club Expo – Whalasa will be in the MBA café starting 3:30; 
  • Pub Crawl – We will be co-hosting with Europa a pub crawl at Copa Miami starting at 10:30pm. Wear your Whalasa t-shirts!  

Saturday April 14th

·         WELCOME WEEKEND WHALASA/EUROPA PARTY: Starting at 10pm at Zee Bar, located at 100 Spring Garden Street.

Please help us collect our Whalasa pictures (parties, dinners, spring breaks, Wharton 54, Halloween and other interesting events!) for the Cena!! To send us your pictures please go to www.yahoo.com, go to Photos, sign in with username "cena_tucanes" and password “wharton”, create a folder with your name and upload the pics! Thanks all for your help! This is easier than doing on the web café!
